Obituary of Theodore "Ted" Noble

NOBLE, Theodore “Ted” Avard – 65, Harrietsfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 1, 2010 in the QEII Health Sciences Center. Born on December 18, 1944 in Torbrook Mines, Annapolis County, he was a son of the late Homer and Vera (Wallace) Noble. Ted owned and operated Noble’s Appliance Repair for 33 years; he was also a past member of the Harrietsfield / Sambro Volunteer Fire Department. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by his wife, Diane (Beals); son, Scott; daughter, Paula (Duncan) MacAuley; brothers, Malcolm (Anne), Richard, Homer and Brian (Liz); sisters, Rev. Joy Noble; Sara (Jeff) Rogers and Shari (Allen) Wentworth; several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J. A. Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Road, Spryfield (477-5601), where visitation will be held on Sunday, July 4 from 6-8 PM. A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, July 5 at 2 PM from the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow. A graveside service will be held in Torbrook Mines United Church Cemetery, Annapolis Co. on Tuesday, July 6 at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
