Where does one begin? Dad taught me to fish, shoot a BB gun, skin a rabbit...I was his Tom-girl. His sense of humor if somewhat crazy was unique and all his own. He was my go to when I got older as a teenager. My sounding board when things got tough.
Then I grew up and life for me changed and I lost sight of who he had been inside for me. We had a falling out and I was stubborn. 6 months ago I reached out to Dad on Facebook hoping he'd see and respond. Silence. So many times I wanted to go to the last place I knew of where he lived. A little too late. I am sorry Dad. I love you and always will. Rest in peace you gentle, gentle soul.
All my love
Your daughter,
Lindsay

We had known Geoff when he went to school in our area in the 60’s. It has been only in the last couple of years that we have become reacquainted. Geoff had recently been saved by the grace of God and was a testimony to his faith. We visited him often and found that his faith never waivered. His great desire was to depart this world of suffering and be with Christ, which is far better. His wish has been granted.
Condolences to the family.

Jeff was a special member of our Ritchie family. My Mom, Mary RItchie, welcomed Jeff to our home and business, Ritchie Rentals, and he added a special flavour to our lives. He was like another brother for me at the shop. He was kind, gentle, very smart and lots of fun. His friend Moses, a 16 foot Python, came to work with him. First time I ever worked with a snake stretched out around the desk. Another friend of his Harley, was also a regular at family functions. He was a tough guy(dog), who survived a couple of tough accidents. Jeff loved all fury and scaley creatures. Sometimes Jeff could look a little tough himself, but he was a sensitive, loving man with so much loyalty to those he loved. I miss his chuckles. I hope he meets up with Mum and Scott again to continue their wonderful friendships. I miss them so very much.

Dear Charters family,
We are very sad to learn of Geoff's passing. We are long time friends from Bridgewater. Geoff was always kind to our family, he helped my father Clyde Robar after he had a stroke with so many things. He was there to saw their winter wood and pile it in the basement among so many other things. He was always a phone call away, and a well loved friend. When our father was in hospital with terminal cancer, we asked him if there was anything he wanted and his final wish was to see Geoff. Geoff was attending university in Fredericton, but was on the bus to Bridgewater the following day. Geoff was like another brother to us, he held our father's hand in his last days in the hospital and danced at my sister's wedding.
May many cherished memories help you all through the days and months to come. Keeping you all close in thought.
Sincerely,
Heather & Colin
Thank you Geoff, we appreciated your friendship. Soar with the angels.
