To Suzanne and Mimi's family, Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. I have been very saddened by Mimi's sudden passing and I am treasuring beautiful memories from our time together at Statistics Canada. We used to have nice coffee chats early mornings. What's new Mimi I would ask : "SSDD" would be her response, quoting her mother... and then she was sharing jokes, exchanging recipes and chatting about life. I loved those moments we had together. I will miss you Mimi. Rest in peace my Dear Mimi.

The only phone conversation I had with her was enough for me to realise how kind and wonderful she was. I had stressful days and I was studying for my IELTS exam and I really needed somebody to talk to in order to practice my speaking exam. She kindly accepted my request to talk to me before the exam and at the end I got a wonderful score for my spaking test that for sure she had a quota in my sucsses. I can never forget her kind voice. Now that i read her biography i got sure that what i had guessed about her just by a phone conversation was totally right. Dear suzanne please accept my condolences

Suzanne, my deepest sympathies to you and your family. It has been a few years since I last ran into your Mom but my memories of her from our youth to adulthood are vivid...she had that impact on people :) Mimi was a beautiful soul who was always warm, kind and welcoming to me. She had the best down-to-earth personality who always made myself and those around her, smile and laugh. To Mimi's family my deepest condolences. Mimi interviewed me for my job at Stats Canada and even though she was never my senior she was always very supportive and kind to me. We had many interesting conversations about life in general. I am so happy she came into my life. Rest in peace Mimi.

My sincere condolences to Mimi’s family she was my favourite person to work with while I was at stats she always took the time for a quick chat she had told me a dream she had one time which I was in asking her if she had her shoes on so every time I saw her at work I would ask if she had her shoes on we always laughed
