We remember her so well from our teenage years at Timberlea Jr High School...she had such an amazing personality, so great with the students and so kind. My dad (Chesley Smith) was the custodian at the junior high school and they had a great friendship...he thought the world of her :)

I would like to convey my deepest sympathy on the passing of dear Emilie. When the loss of a loved one comes, it is often difficult to find the words that one might want to say to offer comfort during this time. The only solace that we have is that your loved one knew the Lord, worked and lived for Him, and is now with Him. Having worked for the former HRSB, I would see her when I visited the school as well as see her when I visited Beechville Church. What a pleasant and up beat person!

It is with a sad heart that I read the obituary of dear Emilie. Wow, it is just heard to believe as we read if the passing of dear friends you grew up with and shared a lot of life experiences in community and church.
I smiled though as I read her obituary, every word so well said, so true if Emile.
She will indeed be missed, but we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the slots.
She loved the Lord and lived to serve His people.

To Patsy and the rest of Emilie's family, I want to offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to you. The sting of losing a loved one disappears when we know that person is Anchored in Christ.. I have known Emilie and her siblings for many years and although I didn't see her as much as in our younger years, it was always a pleasure to run into her now and then.
