Obituary of Donald Wayne Morris

Age 71, Halifax, passed away at home Sunday March 10, 2019 with his wife and son by his side. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Theodore and Rosalie (Cox) Morris.

A musician his whole life, he was the well known bass player for the Stitch’n Tyme and Soma. An avid photographer, he had a keen eye for wildlife, nature and cats. His boat, the Rosalie M was his passion and was a familiar sight on the Northwest Arm. He was survived by his wife Betty Luiting; son, Luke; sister, Lynda; brothers, Robert and Kenneth; one niece and seven nephews. He was predeceased by brother Gary “Gus”.

Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. There will be a service at a later date.
