Dear Mary - I knew from Eleanor that Barbara had not been herself lately, but I'm sad to hear that she's gone. Her fantastic research into so many things especially sawmills will live on, as will our good memories of her.

Sincere condolences on Barb's passing. Barb was such an interesting person who always had an historical research project on the go. I was lucky enough to have spent a day on the road with Barb when she was writing Sawpower - such an interesting day for a very young museum worker. Rest in Peace Barb.
