thoughts of you make me smile; the image of you mixing bread dough, hanging clothes to dry, with red hands after peeling beets to pickle, wearing dads old hat and shirt to paint the house, you're never far from my thoughts mom and I bet Arnie's right there with you as we all will be one day...miss you more than ever
love, the runt of the litter

Nan - where do I begin? We shared so many laughs at your house between you and Gramp . You would always tell me to dress warm and that I should have "a little sweater on over that shirt hunny ".
You would always tell me to "go ahead and help yourself and find something to eat if you don't want any of this "( that being her supper with Gramp ) .
You loved to draw and play bingo for so many years. I remember sitting on the steps by the kitchen waiting for you ,mom and Jen to cook up the half hour pudding that we all loved! Who would have thought you could make a big piece of dough taste so good in the roast pan. You loved to bake and especially loved to cook your molasses cake that everyone loved. I remember going out in the kitchen when I was younger while you and Gramp were watching tv and sneaking into the cupboards ever so quietly to get the can of cake frosting and sit quietly on the kitchen floor and eat spoonful after spoonful giggling to myself knowing you would ask days later "Aaron what happened to the icing " and I knew it was me :) we shared so many great Christmas memories over the years together . It will be very hard this year knowing that we can't drop down for a visit . Time is so short and some of us never stop to think and appreciate / cherish all the memories of our loved ones both here with us today / who are angels waiting on the other side. I know you've found Gramp by now and I'm sure he's already bugging you and telling jokes ( most of them dirty haha ). You will never be forgotten and I will always love you. XOX rest easy nanny XOX

Nan,
I look back at the photos and videos I’ve taken of you over the years, many of them when you weren’t even aware. I cherish them all. So many good times together and so many great memories made. Christmas time together every year, celebrating your birthday, watching you draw in your sketch book just last yr and all the times we baked together and made meals. All Precious memories.
You were a big part of my life and I love you so much. I will always hold you dear to me.
Know that you were loved by so many.
Kisses and hugs,
