Obituary of Ella- Mae Slaunwhite

SLAUNWHITE, Ella Mae- Age 93 of Terence Bay, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Ella Mae Slaunwhite, on April 16, 2019 at the QEII.  Born in Terence Bay she was a daughter of the late Trenaman and Theresa Slaunwhite. Ella Mae was the last surviving sibling of a family of 13 children. Mom was loved by all; she had a tender heart and a gentle hand always there to help.  God needed another angel and her work on earth was done.  She will be greatly missed by her children, sons; Arnold, Joseph (Joanna) and Jim (Shelly); daughters Doreen (Wayne), Emily, Alvina (Barry) and Holly (Frank); as well as 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Aaron who passed away in 2009; son William in infancy; daughter Marion; brothers William, Basil, Cecil, Clyde and Earle; sister Lillian, Laura, Irene, Lilly, Gladys, Lila and Vera.  Cremation has taken place under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.  The family would like to thank the staff of 8.2 in the QE11 for their exceptional care.  Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.walkerfh.com
