I am deeply sorry for your loss, I know the heartache of losing a loved one. Soon the God of Comfort will bring an end to death and wipe away the tears from all faces, for this has been promised at Isaiah 25:8. We can also look forward to the marvelous hope brought out at Acts 24:15 There we see that those we lost in death will be brought back to life here on earth. I remember when I moved across the street and was doing renovations, Jim came over to introduce himself, and from there we became friends. Jim would come over to see how things were going and help where ever he could, over the years I knew if I needed help with anything I knew Jim would be there. I will miss our talks, and waving to him from across the street. RIP Jim

Jim would be very proud of how well you are doing and he was comfortable knowing you are able to enjoy life. Jim required me to help our with little tasks in his absence such as checking car fluids. So sorry to hear about Jim, Peggy, Ruby and Clyde. I always loved Jim ever since I was a little girl. He was superman to me - so handsome. I remember the days we went to his grandmother's in Spryfield, then the country. Mary-Lou and I collected eggs. His mother made huge pans of rolls. Peggy and Ruby used to babysit me and my brother Jackie and little sister Nancy-Jean. We lived across the street from each other on Oxford and Oak. Nancy-Jean and her husband George live in Spryfield. Now I am 76 years old and not so spry My husband and I are happy living in the Annapolis Valley. God bless. Rosemary Wells (Brigley) My parents are Jean and Jack Wells. Our brother Jackie died at 44.

I’ve known Jim since I was a young girl. Jim has always been friendly and “a nice man”. Over the last # of years, specifically since Liliane came into his life he has been happier than he ever was before! I remember being so very happy for him. I used to run into them all over the place but haven’t in some time and was wondering lately how they were. My deepest condolences to Liliane and their son, my prayers are with you in this most difficult time, also to his daughters but they have been living away from Jim for a long time now. Jim I pray you enjoy your time above, you can show everyone how to make those fabulous pens! I’m sure you’ll have a story or joke for everyone...you’ll be missed here!

This beautiful picture of Jim really shows his friendly and outgoing personality. He seems to be about to relate to you a funny story (perhaps true, perhaps not). We really like the picture of the tools in the background; he was very proud of his “work in wood” and was truly in his element with his hammer in his hand.
