Chris and Robbie, so sorry to hear about your fathers passing. We have many fond memories of good times with David ,Kathy and you guys at the club, the cottage and your home. Sorry to learn of David’s passing. We go back to our teen years and we’re good friends. I also remember his laugh and the joy one felt being around David. I moved to Western Canada, presently Winnipeg 49 years ago. We would get together when I came home to visit my parents and would have some good times. I haven’t been to Halifax in many years, and was hoping one day to return and look up my friends from the past. Unfortunately when and if that can occur I won’t see David. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He had a bigger than life character And will be missed by all that know him. Ernie McGrath Winnipeg, Manitoba

I moved to Toronto many years ago. David was part of the Field Boys in Spryfield. One time when I was home visiting the old gang got together. That must have been 20 years ago. I haven't seen him 15 years before that. I remember David's sense of humor and laugh. It was still the same as I remembered when we use to hang out. That always made me laugh, he made us all laugh. Will not forget, never forget. So sad. My deepest condolences.
