Just noticed this obituary while looking at my Dad's obituary. So sorry for your loss. Doug and my Dad, Albert Webster, worked together at DND and were friends as well. I know he thought well of Doug -- two quiet guys who loved family most of all. We are so lucky to have had them in our lives for so long and they will be deeply missed by their families.

Dear Gordon,
So very sorry to hear of your father's passing. My mother says that your father had a canteen down at the Look Off. I didn't know that, but it's the older folks that we all seem to learn from.
Wishing you and your family all the best, during this sad time.
Ginny and John Inkpen.
