Soon the God of Comfort will bring an end to death and wipe away the tears from all faces, for this has been promised at Isaiah 25:8. Gordon, We are so sorry to hear of Irene's passing and wish to express our sincere condolences to you and your family. We will never forget how loving and kind you both were to our daughter, Erin, during the time you looked after her all those years ago. We are grateful to have had the recent opportunity to tell you how much we appreciated everything you did for her and for us. We have wonderful memories and pictures of those days. It was a privilege to bring Irene her much-loved seafood chowder and know that she really enjoyed it. Irene showed incredible courage and strength in the face of her illness and made a point of focusing on the most positive aspects of her life. She will be missed by all of us.
