Obituary of Irene Williams

 Age 85, Halifax.  It is with heavy hearts that the family of Irene Williams, loving wife to Gordon Williams, announces her passing which occurred on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in the comforts of her home, surrounded by her family. 

Irene is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Gordon, their sons: Bucky (Cora), Rod (Rose), Kevin (Darlene) and Barry (Linda), daughters: Velma (Thomas) Sullivan, Sharon (Danny) Pettipas, Cynthia (Russell) Sampson and Carolyn (Ronald) Jeffrey, 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, brothers: Floyd, Jim, Tyrone and Myles Oickle, sisters: Veronica (James) Edgar and Mary (Wayne) Thomas along with many nieces, nephews and members of her extended family.

Irene was predeceased by her parents Emery and Fannie (Johnson) Oickle, her daughters Dawn Williams and Fay Jenkins, brother Clyde Oickle and sister Lenora MacDonald.
