Mrs Henneberry was my Sunday school teacher at Christian view Church. She taught me how to love, forgive, craft, act, sing and be an independent woman that says what she thinks and wears what she wants.
I remember thinking, if she can skydive then I can do anything! Thank you for all the cherished life lessons you taught me XO love and miss you always

We shall surely miss Rev.Jeanne.
She was a true friend and a great traveling companion as we we travelled with her on two trips to visit Israel.
She certainly made her mark in this life as she preached Jesus through thick and thin.
What a fine Christian example she was.
We send our thoughts and prayers to all her family.

I am sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. She was a great lady. I enjoyed our time together in many Sambro Dinner Theatres. I was honored to play the younger version of Jeanne in "A Walk Down Memory Lane" I had asked her if I did her justice and she said not too bad. Made me smile. Find comfort in knowing she is smiling down and watching over her family, friends and so many that were fortunate to have known her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Dear Alberta & Family,
Our heartfelt condolences to you on the passing of your loved one. She was a woman of great faith and high regard, as she practiced what she preached. We always felt that she was a member of our family by taking part in Birthday celebrations, officiating at family weddings, travelling with family members, sharing hand-made gifts and always giving love and support in times of sorrows of the heart. She was an attentive support giver to our Mother and for that we will always be grateful. We know she is resting peacefully knowing she loved and was loved and will be sadly missed and remembered by her family and so very many friends and associates. We feel honoured and blessed to have taken part in Jeanne's wonderful life of accomplishments. May comfort and peace be with you.
Marshie (Henneberry) & Ralph Single

I knew Jeanne mainly through the down home Christmas concerts at St. James Church in Sambro and through my daughter's involvement in the dinner theatre! I looked forward every year to her Christmas recitations, her wicked wit and bold style! She wore her generous heart on her sleeve and has led a life we can all look up to and emulate. I will truly miss her presence in our community. My love and thoughts go out to her family.

I wish to express my sincere condolences to Jeanne’s family. Jeanne was my school teacher many years and she also taught me knitting while we were on lunch break. We worked together at Sears and while there I won their beauty contest. With my crown I was expected to attend all functions of their social club. I invited Herbert and Jeanne to join Ivan and I at Sears annual ball held at the Nova Scotia Hotel. Jeanne enjoyed life very much and could always be counted on to take part in a fun filled evening.

To my beautiful Jeanne, I shall miss you with every beat of my heart. You brought so much kindness and humour to our lives. Your friendship was as beautiful and true as you, and I'll miss all the fun we had together - so many laughs and giggles! You were always in my corner and gave me such praise and encouragement, and I've never felt so loved.
I loved listening to your stories, especially how Herbert picked you out walking along the road and told his friends that you were the girl he was going to marry. Also, the story of how he bought your lunch basket for $25 so he could sit with you. And my favourite story was when Herbert asked you, "If I build you a house, would you marry me?"! To which you said, "Yes!"
To your family, I send my deepest condolences. They shall dearly miss you and it is easy to see how much they love you.
You told me you had a few changes to make in heaven - I guess we'll have to wait and see your handiwork! We are so blessed to have such a beautiful angel.

Your life is hid with Christ in God. Col.3:3 We loved Jeanne and enjoyed her company and she always loved and welcomed us. Her home was a haven of peace on earth. For several years we were privileged to help with her nursing home ministry at melville Lodge and melville Gardens. We both knew her from our childhood. In fact she was Herb's first school teacher in the East Pennant school....a one room school. She had a big heart and was always a giver. These last couple of years we both had many wonderful hours with her and before the throne of grace. She was spontaneous. Enjoyed phone calls and chats. Will miss those! Our thoughts and prayers are with each of the family. Your loss is her gain with the Jesus she loved. Love and Prayers, Herbert and Elaine Nickerson

I knew Mrs Henneberry in a professional capacity but I grew to know the very essence of the person she was through our encounters over the years. She and I shared a passion for gardening and I found her life so fascinating as it unfolded to me over time. I have been retired for over 10 years and have not seen her during that time but I will remember her as a very delightful and gracious lady who always had time for a kind word. May she Rest In Peace. I'm very sorry to read of Jean's passing. She was a feisty, wonderful, funny friend who always found a way to laugh in spite of what always seemed to be coming at her next. I learned a lot from her about life and love and her commitment to her community. I'll never forget her and the luxury of sitting and laughing, looking out the windows of her sunroom over the bay.

I am so sorry to hear of Jeanne's death, and send my heartfelt condolences to the family. In the 1960s, when I was a teenager, she and Herbert and family welcomed me to stay in their home many times, when I would hitchhike to Sambro from Bridgewater. I first got interested in the wonderful people of Sambro in 1962, when I travelled with the Gospel Tent run by the Brethren group. Jeanne and Herbert were so hospitable to me. On one or two occasions when I was there, Jeanne would have to go into town (for help with severe migraines I think) and I would stay with Martha, who was then a baby. Rest in peace Jeanne -- you have earned it!

I am so sorry to hear of Jeanne’s passing For me she taught me in early kindergarten where I learned many gospel songs and in later years was given my first little bible by Jeanne in 1971. Which I still have. In much later years I was able to meet Jeanne and was given another bible by her which I still have. She was always there if you needed to talk.My singing and the love for gospel music i can attribute to the blessings Jeanne gave me over the years.RIP Mrs.Henneberry
