JoAnn and I worked together at the IWK many, many years ago.From our professional relationship a friendship grew as we shared a passionate love of nursing and children.
As life often does we drifted apart as our lives moved in different directions,however,whenever we happened to see each other on the street or in a store or at the VG it was like all those intervening years had never happened…we were right back at the IWK reminiscing about the “good old days”.Those times weren’t always easy but we certainly had lots of fun and most importantly each other’s backs.
A dedicated ,caring nurse who respected and loved her patients you should all be very proud and grateful to have had such a wife and Mom ….one who gave so much of herself so that her small patients could sleep a little easier,feel a little less homesick ,be a little less scared.
She brought who she was to her work; she made a difference and we are all the better for it.
May she Rest In Peace and may you,her much loved family, find comfort in your memories.
