My Dearest Robert, My heart yearns for you and the emptiness you must be feeling with the loss of your beautiful Mum. There is no greater luv than a Mother’s Luv!! I know that, because of your strong faith in God you know your Mum is in a better place out of pain and suffering. She is laying in the arms of our dear Lord and Saviour and has received her crown. I can recall precious memories along with good times filled with love happiness and laughter. Such great blessings. Hello family I extend to you my detest sympathy in the death of your loving Mom and Grandmother. The obituary expressed it so well- your Mom was a fun loving, kind, thoughtful woman. She knew hard times, some very difficult times but Dorothy kept her faith, had a smile and nice conversation for all. I recall the last several years visiting the Christian Church in Spryfield where she and her late friendJean Miller attended faithfully. She loved the Lord and had a word of praise for Him. To you Debbie, Robert, Wade, Chelsea, I want you to know that I’m thinking of you, praying with you and for you. I know how you feel. She’s Mom and oh how we miss them. I have many fond memories of Dorothy from Christmas Plum Pudding, to the Hootenanny at the Derby and her famous "Lemon Beer" always on tap. She was one in a million. Thinking of you all during this difficult time. Aunt Dorothy will be missed by many. I can picture her coming in the gym, to watch her baby Cordell hog the ball for 40 minutes lol. She had that slow methodical strut. Keys in one hand and her purse slung over her shoulder. I remember when Kyle would come down home, always talking about he needs to go see Aunt Dorothy. I’d be wondering why are you breaking your neck to go see Aunt Dorothy? Deli doesn’t check on me?? Kyle would say, Deli doesn’t check on you? No Kyle, he doesn’t. He only checks on me the day before he knows you’re coming home, to make it look good! Lol. Rest easy Aunt Dorothy. I’m sure you’re up in Heaven eating all the bodies of the lobsters lol and making the best fudge, known to man. One love. Deborah
