I was checking for my Aunts obituary and came across Doreen’s. My Aunts name is Ruth Hattie (born Findley). I have been working on my family tree for the last 40 years and while I don’t know much about your family, I do know they’re connected. Joseph (and Maude) was my Grandfathers (Percy)’s brother. I know very little about the Findley side of my tree as I never knew my grandfather and by the time I got interested in my family tree, my grandmother was in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. if you or anyone in your family is interested in my/our tree, go to ancestry.ca and search for Thomas Raymond Findley or the name of my tree is “trfindley” .
