I will never forget showing up at the Melvin house one afternoon to visit Janine when we were around 16. I knocked but no one answered.
Since they were used to my face (Kathy and Stephen always accepting their many 'adopted' children ie: friends of their kids) so I walked in announcing my arrival. I head directly into the kitchen to find Kathy, Janine, and Jill all singing in perfect harmony while washing dishes, all with smiles on their faces.
That always stuck with me because I thought it was so lovely to see how close they were even through the dramatics of teenage girls.
Kathy, you will be missed by all but we know you'll be smiling down with that twinkle in your eye <3

We are so saddened by the passing of such a wonderful person. Cathy will be missed.
I know the pain that you all feel is unbearable, but just know that she is with the angels watching over you and
