Janet, Judy, Ben, Joey, John and family, Praying for you on this celebration of life day for your mom. Aunt Shirley always put her family's needs before her own, worked hard throughout her life to provide and care for everyone and to instill her values in her children. It is a time of sorrow on the loss of such a good woman and mother, but take comfort in knowing that Shirley lives on in you and is now safely in the arms of the lord and reunited with loved ones.

To all the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of my Aunt Shirl, I want you to know how sadden I am about her passing. Shirl was my mum’s best friend. She was the biggest support to our whole family on the passing of my dad. Shirley was with my mom on her passing. I will never forget all that she did for us and how valuable she has been to me. When Shirley arrived, the whole house lit up. Shirley could knit 100 mph while mum would keep time chewing her gum. Everyone knew Shirley at the Bingo hall and it wasn’t uncommon for locals to remember her from one visit to the next. Always something to laugh about when Shirley was around. She is going to be missed here on earth, but I know when she passed that she had an amazing greeting on the other side.

Janet, Judy, Benny, Joey, John and Families I'm so sorry to hear the news about your Mom. Please know that I'm thinking of you all at this heart-breaking time. Your Mom was such a lovely lady and I really missed seeing her around when she moved off Williams Lake Rd. Not 100% sure, but I think at one point, Shirley and I were the last two people remaining from the 'Old Neighbourhood'.May your fond memories bring you all peace and God give you strength to get through the difficult days ahead.
