Obituary of Barry Thomas Mitchell
MITCHELL, Barry Thomas - Age 65, of Margaretsville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the QEII Victoria General Hospital in Halifax on February 11, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Marion (Dwyer) and Harry Mitchell.
Barry was a retiree from Bell Aliant formerly known as MTT. Barry loved his wife and family more than anything in the world. He was always the life of the party, could light up a room with his smile and always saw the good in everyone. He enjoyed playing horseshoes and cards. He loved going ATVing with his wife and friends who he loved like they were family. He loved playing hockey and was an avid Toronto Maple Leafs fan even though they always blew it in the playoffs. He will be sadly missed and has left an unfillable void in all the people who loved him.
