It is with deepest sadness to hear this news. Joan was one of a kind and with the biggest heart. Her love and dedication to The Salvation Army was one that did not go unnoticed. I know when my parents, Captain William and Captain Arline Keats were posted there, Joan was the first to not only greet us, but to stretch out those strong arms of hers and hug us until we could feel her love, which took no time. I have great memories of Joan that will always stay in my heart. Love and thoughts to her family.

I also became Wisdom Keepers leader for the seniors group for a few years in Spryfield. I had the pleasure of getting to know Joan and your family.
