I came to know Dave during our teaching days in Fort McMurray. He was a good man and a wonderful teacher. Dave was always friendly and had such a positive outlook. My condolences to his family and friends.

It was my pleasure to teach in the classroom next door to Dave for many years, at Thickwood Heights school. I remember his calm patience and kindness to everyone, and how he loved to hear stories about my long-distance canoe trips in the Arctic. He was such a gentle and generous man and I wish sincere condolences to Dave’s family and many loved ones.
