Dear Carol, Garry, family, and friends, So sad to realize Grant's passing through. It was not without the constant love and support of you, his family and friends. Our neighbour, Grant's teacher, Lynne Simpson put it very well on Facebook this week when she described him as "gentle Grant". You and she would know that. We will not be able to attend ceremony as we are away and I'm sorry not to be able to give you a hug Garry. Will certainly hug you in May Carol, and promise all the help you need then. Very sorry to hear of Grant's passing. His health has kept him away from the Midtown the past few years , but his many visits were always times we will remember very fondly ! There wasn't a hockey or football pool that Grant wasn't ready to tackle, a cold Ten-penny and the picking of the teams would start. He was always with his buddies , the kind of person that you wanted hanging around your tavern, just a real solid guy ! Grant will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have met him. Thoughts to all his family from all the Midtown gang, past and present .
