My mother Shirley remembers the day that she took her stroke, and George help her off the ground and called my dad to come over and get her. He held her and kept her safe until Reg arrived. He was a wonderful man and we thank him for being there on that day. xx

I worked with "Georgie" when he would fill in at Fleming Tower after his retirement. I always enjoyed our conversations at the end of the day. He especially loved talking about his grandchildren and he would beam with pride when he spoke of them. My deepest condolences to you all.

My condolences. George was a friend of mine from working together at Cunard School. I think I met George first at Rockingstone. I remember he used to get a kick out of the fact that I lived up the eastern shore before and he liked going to his grandson's hockey games.
