Heather was a fun friend in Boarding School in The Royal School, Cavan. Ireland. She could hit the hockey ball a right whack so always best to get out of the way! How we enjoyed our school Reunion about 25 years ago. Heather and I chatted all through the night and enjoyed emailing since then. So sorry to hear she has gone.
Thinking of her best friend Geoff and family at this sad time.

My dear sweet Heather.
I met Heather 5 1/2 years ago when I moved from St Marys, Ontario to Halifax. I often referred to Heather as.”Irish Heather”. We met at our exercise classes at Emmanuel and at Bethany and we remained friends, even through that nasty COVID time. There were many coffee dates with Heather at my house, as well as at Heather’s place, and our other dear friend, Glenda’s house.
I miss you sweet Heather. Hopefully, you have rejoined my sister who also passed away on the very day that you did. Hopefully, you are up in heaven creating a little havoc with my sister. The world lost two beautiful women that day. Love Joanie

We send our sincere condolences to Geoff,Owen, Alan and families. Heather was a wonderful lady and we cherished the time we spent with her as well as you Geoff. Heather and I chatted so much and shared so much joy .We loved our vacations together with you and will look back with the joy we had in Vegas, Florida and times on North Shore at your sweet cottage! Memories of many walks and lunches, concerts with her and with some other friends of hers. She was the planner of many wonderful outings or gatherings on the weekends to chat in group in your living room on Baker Drive. She was always kind and with gardening and music we shared so much..We enjoyed hearing Alan singing on stage and she was very proud of that.We shared health issues and happy times. She was a wonderful nurse and helped many people for sure. She loved you and her family so much. She was so happy bringing Morgan over to show me the sweet child. We were both only children and I treasured her as a sister! RIP Heather till we are together again. John and Sandra Reddy

I am fortunate to have worked with Heather for a number of years at a medical clinic, sharing hours travelling together to and from the office. She possessed a wealth of gardening knowledge, gifting me cuttings/bulbs from her yard. I will have a greater appreciation for the irises now growing in my garden come spring. Lots of laughs, Sunday brunches, Bulk Barn trips, and interesting conversations over the years. She was not only a colleague, I considered her a dear friend whom I will greatly miss. Condolences to Geoff and family.

We are sending love and holding you all in prayer. It’s not easy to say goodbye to someone you love - even if we have faith that, that goodbye is not forever. May God’s love continue to unite you as a family; may you take the best of what she taught you and share it with the future generations; and may you look for her in the love you have for each other.
Blessings from Gneid and Brent in NB
