So very sorry for your loss. Timmy was such a great guy. No matter what he was battling himself he always asked and cared about others. Our son Kyle was in the co-op program at school and he needed a six week placement in the trades - I called Timmy and he agreed instantly to mentor Kyle. It was such a great learning time for Kyle. I used to see Timmy every once in a while and we'd chat for the longest time. I will miss him.

It was with great sadness I learned of Tim's passing. Though Tim and I haven't really kept in touch over the years anytime we would run into each another we would reminisce of the days when we worked at Dalhousie Security Services. Although Tim only worked with us for a few years we had some great times, from pulling pranks on our mates to playing on the security softball team. The one thing Tim always had was a smile and seemed to love what ever he was doing. You will be sadly missed my good friend.

Timmy, you always made hanging out more fun, interesting and often outright exciting, whether it be a white knuckled toboggan run as kids, fingers sunk in the dash during a blast in the Nova, or sitting around the garage shooting the breeze getting your unique perspective on things. Thanks for being my friend. I, as will many, many others will miss you dearly. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family. Gary

I am devastated for each of his family members and good friends. I was lucky to have called him friend also. I devoted a photo using his chainsaw as he spent a summer teaching me how to use it and helped me get wood with his trailer for my furnace. I have been privileged with many a good memory and I am saddened by this tragic loss. I won't forget him. God bless you dear Tim. I hope heaven has a race track. ♥

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to lose a child. I lost my wife to cancer 18 months ago,our children were 17 and 15 at the time and it is still difficult. Timmy as always despite his owns struggles was always there for me ,as he always was. We lived 2 hours from each other so we didn't get to spend as much time together as we used to but always kept in touch and would take time to have a meal together when we could ,and tease each other about our cars. I had emergency surgery a few years ago and was hospitalized for a month and in an induced coma for 6 days ,during that time Tim would come to the hospital to make sure my wife was ok giving her a cell phone because she had left home in a hurry without hers. He made sure she was eating, had money and when she left the hospital late at night he would walk her to her car to make sure she was safe. That's the kind of friend he was. I spent the evening with him the night before he was admitted to hospital for the last time, I picked up Chinese food and we talked for hours about everything including my offer of a stair lift that was removed from my parents home to which he replied " I'm not ready for that yet, I want to get back on my feet, I'm never going to give up".He was all anyone could ever ask for in a friend and I will cherish that evening and will miss him greatly. My sympathies David Westhaver

Hi Steve: Just a brief note to tell you how very sorry we are that Tim passed away. I hope you got our message that we didn't know of this sadness till we received a call from our son of his passing. He saw it in the Chebucto News and immediately called us. I was talking to Tim about 2 months ago and he told me he was doing ok . Tim was (to my wife and I)a good friend. A soft spoken gentle giant with a large heart and always giving rather than receiving. We will remember the good times when we had him over for some home cook meals and good conversation. We certainly would of visited him in the hospital and would of certainly been to his funeral had we known that he was failing. He will never be forgotten. Yours truly, Wayne and Donna Comeau
