Obituary of Timothy Ralph Adams

Age 54, Timberlea, passed away with dignity after a relentless battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on March 16,2017, at the V.G. Hospital. Tim was born in Spryfield to Doug and Shirley Adams of Greenfield. He worked as a plumber for the majority of his life, until taking an interest in snow plowing and heavy equipment. In his free time, Tim enjoyed boating, all-terrain vehicles, driving his Chevy Nova around the city, and making peanut butter balls for his friends and caregivers. His biggest joys were his children, of whom he was very proud. He always looked forward to their suppers together, and couldn’t wait for the next one.Tim was heavily involved in his community, spending time on the Otter Lake Landfill Committee and volunteering for local political campaigns.Besides his Mom and Dad, Tim is survived by his son, David (Stephanie) and daughter, Amanda, both of Timberlea and his brother, Stephen (Colleen) of Bedford. Cremation has taken place, because Tim wanted to"get rid of the cancer once and for all." Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. 149 Herring Cove Rd. There will be no visitation. A service will be held on Monday, March 20 at 1:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at a later date. In memory of Tim, donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife or directly to the Palliative Care Unit at the V.G., so that they can continue their incredible care. We would like to thank Dr. Jeff Colp and the caring and compassionate staff at the Palliative Care Unit on 7A. We would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Liam Mulroy, who cared for Tim for the past 19 years.
